Next up from the Copplestone Castings 10mm range is Faramir, Captain of the Rangers of Ithilien, and two units of his men. The figures are based on 80x40mm bases for 'grand scale' Hordes of the Things (with Faramir's circular hero base sitting on a clear acrylic stand). In the Hordes of the Things rules, Faramir is a 'Hero', and the Rangers are 'Lurkers' (not deployed as formed troops at the start of the battle, but able to ambush enemy troops that enter areas of rough terrain).
Next up is Aragorn, Heir to Isildur as King of Gondor. I've gone with a paint job as per the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings Trilogy and he's based on a 2p piece - shown in one of the photos for scale. In the 'Horde of the Things' rules (Fantasy DBA), Aragorn would be a Hero element costing 4 Army Points (an army can have 24 AP in total, 12 of which can come from heroes/Gods/dragons etc) and whose combat factor would be +5 (second only to Gods, Paladins and Dragons on +6). He's leading a regiment of Gondor Spearmen (+4 combat factor).
